Start with the occasion and the colors they enjoy. Read the bouquet description and compare the available sizes before choosing. Seasonal stems can change, so use the photograph as a guide to the style rather than assuming every variety will be identical.

2. Enter a Swiss delivery address, not your own

Keep your own email address in the buyer details so you can receive order information. Use the recipient’s details for delivery, and check that browser autofill has not replaced them with your home address.

3. Check the delivery calendar in Swiss time

Outside the Geneva area, bouquet deliveries run Tuesday to Saturday. Order before 4 pm Swiss time on the day before an available delivery date. In the local Geneva area, same-day delivery may be offered before 2 pm, Monday to Saturday.

Check the current time in Zurich if you are ordering from another time zone. Daylight-saving changes can alter the difference between your clock and ours. Booking an available date up to 15 days ahead is often simpler than trying to meet a last-minute cut-off.

The date selected in the calendar is the one that counts. Writing another date in the card message or delivery notes does not change the booking. Contact the team before paying if the calendar does not offer what you need.

4. Write the card in the language you share

Use the language your recipient understands, not the one you assume from their postcode. Switzerland is multilingual, and someone living in Zurich may prefer a message in English or French.

A short, specific message feels personal: mention the occasion or something you look forward to doing together. Sign your name if you want the sender to be clear, and check spelling before continuing. The card options are shown during the order.

5. Review the CHF total before paying

Check the bouquet size, delivery charge and any extras. Standard national bouquet delivery costs CHF 14.90; a specific slot can carry an extra charge. The order summary shows the applicable total before payment.

A card linked to a non-CHF account is subject to your bank’s conversion rate and possible fees. Your bank statement will show the converted amount and any fees. Keep the order confirmation so you have the reference and delivery details to hand.

6. Make sure the address can receive flowers

For an office, include the company name and check that reception will be open. At a residential building, useful doorbell or access information is more helpful than a vague instruction to “leave somewhere safe”.

If you discover an address problem or need to change something, contact KANEL promptly with the order reference. A last-minute change or a second delivery attempt is not automatically possible, so check before promising the recipient a particular outcome.
