Do you deliver flowers to hospitals across Switzerland?

Yes, to hospitals, clinics, care homes and maternity units across Switzerland, on the same terms as a home delivery: the day after an order placed by 4 pm, Tuesday to Saturday, and the same day in the canton of Geneva when you order by 2 pm.

Who receives the bouquet?

Reception staff receive it and pass it on to the patient. Our couriers do not enter the rooms.

What information do you need?

The name and address of the establishment, the patient’s first and last name, the ward and, if you know it, the room number. Add a phone number so the courier can reach someone if needed.

Do all wards accept flowers?

No. Intensive care and some other wards refuse flowers for hygiene reasons. Check with the establishment before ordering.

Which flowers should I avoid for a hospital?

Strongly scented flowers such as lilies or jasmine, and potted plants. A compact, lightly scented bouquet of cut flowers suits a shared room.

Can I add chocolates to the bouquet?

Yes, our boxes of Swiss chocolates and our scented candles can be added to the bouquet when ordering.

Why send flowers to a hospital?

A hospital stay feels long, and visits are not always possible. A bouquet says you are thinking of someone, without disturbing the ward. It is also the right gesture from far away: you choose the flowers and the message online, we take care of the rest.

Which flowers suit a hospital room?

Rooms are small and often shared: choose a compact, lightly scented bouquet that is easy to care for.

A compact seasonal bouquet: The smallest of the three sizes fits on a bedside table.

Roses in soft tones: Powder pink or white, discreet and soothing: our six single-color rose bouquets work well.

Little fragrance: Skip lilies, jasmine and strongly scented flowers, which bother people in a shared room.

No potted plants: Potted plants are often refused in hospitals; choose cut flowers.

A water reserve: Our bouquets travel in packaging with a water reserve, so no vase is needed right away.

How hospital delivery works

We deliver to hospitals, clinics, care homes and maternity units across Switzerland. The bouquet is handed to the reception of the establishment, never straight to the room: the staff bring it to the patient. When ordering, give the patient’s name, the ward and, if you know it, the room number. Some wards, such as intensive care, do not accept flowers: if in doubt, check with the establishment before ordering. Outside Geneva, order by 4 pm for next-day delivery, Tuesday to Saturday. In Geneva, by 2 pm for the same day, Monday to Saturday.

Your message is copied by hand onto the card slipped into the bouquet. A few ideas:

How much does hospital flower delivery cost?

Our seasonal bouquets start at CHF 74.90 and our timeless bouquets at CHF 64.90, each in three sizes. Delivery costs CHF 14.90 anywhere in Switzerland, and CHF 9.90 to 19.90 in the canton of Geneva depending on the address. The card with your message is free on orders from CHF 55.

Which hospitals do we deliver to?

All of them: we deliver to any address in Switzerland, and a hospital is one. Here are the establishments our bouquets most often go to, with the city page for delivery times and fees.

Clinics, care homes and maternity units

In a private clinic, the bouquet is also handed to reception: give the patient’s name and, if you know it, the ward.

One exception: at the Clinique Générale-Beaulieu in Geneva, where our kiosk is, the bouquet is brought to the room.

In a care home, the reception of the residence takes the bouquet and passes it on. Give the resident’s name and, if possible, the unit or floor.

In a maternity unit, give the mother’s name. Stays are short: if she is about to leave, a home delivery a few days later is often the safer choice.

When to order for a hospital stay

Planned surgery: book the delivery for the day after the operation or the one after that, once the patient is back in the room. The calendar lets you pick a date up to 15 days ahead.

For an unplanned stay, order by 4 p.m. for delivery the next day, Tuesday to Saturday. In the canton of Geneva, order by 2 p.m. for the same day, Monday to Saturday.

Discharge coming up: if the patient goes home in the next few days, have the flowers delivered there on the day of their return rather than to the hospital.
