Such a beautiful bouquet! Great service. I was not home, so the delivery driver called me to ask if it was OK to leave it with my neighbour. Appreciated the attention.

How KANEL works
Working with the seasons
Our florists work with flowers available throughout the seasons. Arrangements change with new arrivals.
Swiss craftsmanship
KANEL is a Swiss company. Our bouquets are arranged by hand, and our gift selection also features Swiss makers.
Order online
Choose the bouquet, add your card and book the delivery day in the calendar.
Recyclable packaging
Our packaging protects the flowers in transit. The cardboard box can be recycled after delivery.
The right postal code for Effretikon or Illnau
We deliver to both Illnau and Effretikon. The postal code tells them apart, 8307 for Effretikon and 8308 for Illnau, and one wrong digit sends the driver to the wrong village. Add the street, number and the name on the buzzer.
In an apartment building, give the floor and entrance; for a house, the name on the mailbox. For a workplace, include the company, the person and the front-desk number.
Booking a delivery before you leave
Thanking a neighbor who's watering your plants while you're away? Book the date before you leave; the delivery goes ahead whether or not you're home.
Already have a date in mind for something else? Lock it in up to fifteen days ahead instead of waiting for the day before.
Get-well flowers for someone in care
A hospital stay, recovery in a care facility, rehab that takes time: a bouquet tells the person you are there, even from a distance. We hand it to reception with their name and ward; the courier leaves it there and does not go upstairs. Since some wards do not accept flowers, check before placing the order. Our get-well flowers are made for this kind of gesture.
Flowers for a funeral and a tribute
For a funeral in Illnau-Effretikon, our funeral arrangements are delivered at no cost to the family home or wherever the service takes place. Wreaths, sprays and hearts are prepared by hand, with a lead time of at least two days. Make sure to note the village and postal code, the time of the service and the name of the deceased. For CHF 35, a personalized ribbon will carry your message.
Birthday flowers in Illnau-Effretikon
For a birthday, book the day in the calendar up to fifteen days ahead. When it falls on a Sunday or Monday, book the Saturday before.
We print your card text exactly as typed.
Flowers for a neighbor, a birth or a birthday
Someone in Effretikon who helped you out when your car broke down, a new baby for friends in Illnau, a birthday not to forget: a bouquet delivered to their home marks the moment better than a quick text. Pick flowers they will like, in Classic, Large or WOW, and a card in your own words.
A seasonal flower subscription
For a home that always has room for flowers or a company reception, the flower subscription brings a seasonal bouquet every week, every two weeks or once a month, for 3, 6 or 12 months, delivery included. Plan on CHF 59.90 per Classic bouquet or CHF 89.90 per Large. Plans of 3 months or longer include a vase; six months bring one bonus bouquet, twelve months two. Give it as a gift card or go straight to a surprise delivery.
Bouquets made by hand in our workshop
Our florists arrange the bouquet by hand on the very day it leaves, from the seasonal flowers received that week. Your choice of design sets the size, style and palette; the exact selection of flowers depends on what comes in.
There is no Kanel shop in Illnau or in Effretikon. You order on our website, from Switzerland or from abroad.
