The bouquet of flowers was delivered personally and the flowers were beautifully fresh.

As usually - excellent service, beautiful flowers. Especially that I make the order from Poland and the delivery place is Onsernone valley. Once again thank you and I will use Kanel in future for sure.
Iwona O.
They were on time and the flowers were delivered, what was not easy. It's worth noting that parcels aren't usually delivered, so there was a certain risk involved. Hence, extra credit for their effective service!
Elżbieta
Excellent service from start to finish. The attention to detail and punctuality were truly Swiss-level, and the flowers were absolutely beautiful. Highly recommended.
Melinda F.

I received a beautiful boxed bouquet of flowers. They were carefully packed and with a beautiful note card.

How it's packed
Your bouquet leaves for Appenzell standing up in a recycled cardboard box, with a water reservoir around the stems all the way to the door.
Your card sits against the flowers, with a packet of flower food for the vase water. All they have to do is trim the stems and find a clean vase.

How KANEL works
Working with the seasons
Our florists work with flowers available throughout the seasons. Arrangements change with new arrivals.
Swiss craftsmanship
KANEL is a Swiss company. Our bouquets are arranged by hand, and our gift selection also features Swiss makers.
Order online
Choose the bouquet, add your card and book the delivery day in the calendar.
Recyclable packaging
Our packaging protects the flowers in transit. The cardboard box can be recycled after delivery.
Addresses for farms and hamlets
We deliver in both half-cantons of Appenzell, to villages and remote farms alike. If the address has no street name, only a house number or a locality, copy it exactly as it appears on the recipient's mail, with the postal code.
Add a phone number and, if needed, a landmark, such as the color of the gate or the neighboring farm, so the driver can find the house.
Delivering to a farm in Appenzell
At a farm, the courier may arrive while everyone is out working. The tracking link sent on delivery day shows when the bouquet is close, so you can phone ahead and make sure someone is at the house.
If the family has a usual spot for parcels, a bench by the door or the porch, say so in the delivery notes.
Flowers for a loved one in hospital or recovering
When someone close is in the hospital or recovering, a bouquet shows you are thinking of them, even from far away. We hand it to the facility’s front desk with the patient's name and ward, and the courier goes no further. Ask the ward whether it accepts flowers before placing your order. Our get-well flowers were chosen with these situations in mind.
Funeral flowers to accompany a family
Our funeral arrangements are delivered at no cost in Appenzell, to the family home or to the service. Wreaths, sprays and hearts are handmade and take at least two days to prepare. Share the precise address and when the service starts. A personalized ribbon, at CHF 35, carries the message you want to pass on.
Reserving a birthday delivery in Appenzell
Know the date? You can book it up to fifteen days ahead. We don't deliver on Sunday or Monday, so for a birthday on one of those days, pick the Saturday before.
The card carries your message word for word. Cards are free on orders of CHF 55 or more and CHF 2.90 otherwise.
Choosing flowers for a birthday, a birth or a thank-you
A milestone birthday at the grandparents', a grandchild's birth, a thank-you to the family who hosted you: a bouquet looks just as good on the living-room table as on a windowsill. Choose Classic, Large or WOW depending on the occasion.
A flower subscription for the family
Your parents live on a farm in Appenzell and you would like them to have flowers through the seasons? The flower subscription brings them a seasonal bouquet once a month, twice a month or every week for 3, 6 or 12 months, delivery included. Plan on CHF 59.90 per bouquet in Classic or CHF 89.90 in Large. Three months or more come with a vase; six months add one bouquet, twelve months two. Give it as a gift card or open with a surprise first bouquet.
Tied by hand the day it leaves
Our florists arrange your bouquet by hand on the day it ships, with the seasonal flowers that came in that week. Your chosen design determines the style, size and colors; a variety may be swapped depending on what's available.
We have no shop in Appenzell: the website is the only way to order. An order of CHF 90 or more includes a tote bag, and from CHF 150 a vase is added free.
