Packaging with a water reservoir
The flowers leave our Geneva workshop in a recycled cardboard box, stems in a water reservoir. The packaging keeps the bouquet upright until it’s handed over.
Your card travels in the box too, next to a sachet of flower food to stir into the water. On arrival, trim the stems at an angle and put the bouquet in a clean vase.
Choosing a bouquet by what you want to say
A thank-you to hosts, a birthday, an apology: start with what you want to say, and the choice of bouquet follows. Five pointers to help you decide.
Last step: the address and a slot. Choose 5–8 p.m. for someone who works during the day, or 2–5 p.m. to reach them at work.
Same-day flowers in Carouge
Our own couriers drive from our workshop in the canton to Carouge in the afternoon and evening. You choose the bouquet, the address and the slot; the terms below cover the rest.
How same-day delivery works
We deliver Monday to Saturday, never on Sunday. Here's the cutoff, the slots, the price and tracking for Carouge.
How KANEL works
Working with the seasons
Our florists work with flowers available throughout the seasons. Arrangements change with new arrivals.
Swiss craftsmanship
KANEL is a Swiss company. Our bouquets are arranged by hand, and our gift selection also features Swiss makers.
Order online
Choose the bouquet, add your card and book the delivery day in the calendar.
Recyclable packaging
Our packaging protects the flowers in transit. The cardboard box can be recycled after delivery.
Delivery to homes, buildings and businesses in Carouge
Carouge is in our Geneva delivery area: our own drivers bring the flowers from our workshop in the canton, not the post office. We cover the whole town, from houses to older buildings around a courtyard.
For a courtyard building, add the entry code, the floor and the name on the doorbell. For a business, give its name and who to ask for at reception; a phone number that works on the day avoids a second trip.
When an order for Carouge arrives
Miss the 2 p.m. cutoff and the bouquet goes out on the next delivery day, in the slot you pick. A Saturday afternoon order therefore arrives on Monday, since we don’t deliver on Sunday.
Same-day flowers to a hospital or clinic
For someone in the hospital, we leave the bouquet at the front desk with their name and ward. Staff pass it on according to their own rules; our driver doesn’t go into patients’ rooms. Check first that the ward accepts flowers, since several don’t. For a shared room, the Classic size of our hospital bouquet takes up the least space.
Wreaths, sprays and hearts delivered free in Carouge
For a bereavement in Carouge, delivery of our funeral arrangements is free, to the family or to the place of the ceremony. Wreaths, sprays and hearts are made by hand in our workshop in the canton: allow at least two days to prepare them. The exact address and the time of the service are what we need to arrange delivery. A ribbon bearing your message is available for CHF 35.
A birthday bouquet delivered the same day
Just realized the birthday is today? A same-day order still reaches Carouge in the afternoon or early evening. If you’d rather plan ahead, the calendar books the date up to fifteen days out.
Whatever you write on the card is printed word for word. It’s free on orders from CHF 55 and costs CHF 2.90 below that.
Thank-you, birthday or apology flowers in Carouge
After dinner at friends’ place, for a birthday or to say sorry, choose a seasonal bouquet or roses. Every design comes in three sizes, Swiss chocolates or champagne can go in with the flowers, and orders from CHF 90 include a free tote bag.
Flower subscription delivered to you or someone close in Carouge
For your apartment in Carouge or a loved one’s, the flower subscription brings a seasonal bouquet at regular intervals: every week, twice a month or once a month, over 3, 6 or 12 months, delivery included. The Classic size is CHF 59.90, the Large CHF 89.90. The vase is free from three months, and longer plans add bouquets: one at six months, two at twelve. Give it with a gift card, or let the first bouquet be the surprise.
Every bouquet tied by hand
Our florists tie each bouquet by hand in our workshop, on the day it is delivered, using the flowers that came in that week.
Carouge has no Kanel shop: you order on the website, choose Classic, Large or WOW, and our couriers bring the bouquet from the workshop.
Frequently asked questions
Yes. Our drivers deliver to homes and offices all over Carouge. For an inner courtyard or an older building, give the entry code, floor and name on the doorbell, plus a phone number that works on delivery day.
